Story time: I played Horses in the car with my mom on the way back to Tennessee & but the 3rd track (which happens to be “Birdland,” the 7+ minute piano driven poem about a boy who lost his daddy on the new england farm) she told me to turn it off because it was “too heavy for her.” I’m not sure heavy was the right word, but either way I was secretly pretty amused that my mom freaked out. High five, Patti.
